Do You Have a Plan?

We live in a society of planners. Our success at planning varies and often shifts with the phase of life we are in. For some of us, our planning success depends on the situation. Some are experts at project plans in the office, but don’t ask them to plan a family vacation because they may fail at that type of planning. Others are like my wife and dinner. My wife doesn’t mind fixing anything for dinner, but she doesn’t like planning the menu. Many of us would do anything to help; we just don’t want to plan whatever the event is.  The end of life can be like that unavoidable event on the calendar. We know it is coming, and many of us don’t want to think about it. We will be a key participant, but did we do any planning?

We at MMFA believe a plan for our end on this earth is critically important. It helps our loved ones know what our wishes are and how to follow the steps when they are dealing with grief and loss. It also preserves our passions and ensures we support the ministries that have been important to us.  MMFA has many tools that can help:

  • Create your will, powers of attorney, and other directives for free using our Life Legacy Tool.
  • Invite the MMFA team to lead a short seminar on planning after worship or during a fellowship opportunity at your church. The staff will also schedule meetings for individuals and couples to review their plans and get advice on future needs.
  • MMFA can help educate your congregation on ways to give during life and during the last chapter of life.
