NEWS AND INSIGHTS

Summer Stewardship Shorts

Join MMFA in August for a series of three focused, practical webinars designed for pastors and lay leaders who want to lead stewardship with intention.

Each session will pair 20 minutes of content with 10 minutes of conversation so you can connect and share ideas with others who are doing the same important work.

Whether you’re rethinking the theology behind your stewardship practices, trying to articulate a mission, or navigating the real pressures of shifting giving trends, these sessions will give you something you can use right away.

Session 1: Belief > Budget | Wednesday, August 5, 12-12:30 pm ET

What does your church believe about stewardship? If you aren’t sure, this session is for you. We will explore creating a stewardship belief statement centered on God as the source, stewardship as an identity, breadth beyond money, and gratitude as the motive.

Session 2: Mission > Ask | Wednesday, August 12, 12-12:30 pm ET:

If people don’t know what you’re for, they won’t give. This Short will help you articulate a clear, compelling mission that gives every financial stewardship ask a meaningful and motivating “why”.

Session 3: Story > Statistics | Wednesday, August 19, 12-12:30 pm ET:

Declining giving trends are real, but they don’t have to be paralyzing. This session will equip you with practical tools to lead your church toward a more sustainable culture of stewardship.

Register once and join us for any or all three Wednesdays in August — it’s the same Zoom link each week. Can’t make it live? We’ll send the recording after each session.
