The Racial Awareness, Equity, & Reconciliation Field of Interest Fund was established in 2022. Since inception, it has made 2 grants totaling $3,000 to address racial awareness, racial equity, and racial reconciliation. It is inspired by Colossians 3:11 “Words like Jewish and non-Jewish, religious and irreligious, insider and outsider, uncivilized and uncouth, slave and free, mean nothing. From now on everyone is defined by Christ, everyone is included in Christ.”
The goal of this fund is to help Moravian congregations, fellowships, emerging ministries, and agencies answer the call to address racial issues.
