Marion K. Wachtel (1876-1954)

Marion K. Wachtel was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin into an artistic family. Her great grandfather was a Royal Academician in London. Wachtel studied at the AIC and with William Merritt Chase. She excelled in both watercolor and oil and her paintings today are highly popular and eagerly sought on both the East and West coasts.
